As I left my budget hotel on a damp but relatively mild spring Saturday morning, the realisation of the distance I would have to cover that day dawned on me.

It really didn’t take me too long to come to the realisation that I spent a week riding world class trails and simply had the best time.

The much loved Restrap Solstice Century is back once again!

This time round were encouraging riders to make the most of the longest days of the year over the Winter Solstice weekend of the 15th to 17th December. The challenge is to ride one 100 mile/160km ride over those days.

Each year we hit the road and get a big tour in. Over the years we have toured Croatia, Japan, the North Coast of Scotland, Spain, France and more. This allows us to shake down our kit, test it in the field and enjoy the joys of bikepacking.
